Children’s Thoughts
When I came into Grade 5, I didn’t want to be in Miss Christie’s
class, but she came over to me and said, “just stay for the first
week and try me out.” Then she hugged me. She knew I was not
behaving well and when my classmates went to see her in the hospital
she sent ‘hello’ for me and said she hope I was doing good in school.
She cared for me and loved me.

- Was a teacher that if you did not understand she would make it more simple for you to understand.
- Was a good teacher that will make jokes
- Was a teacher who cared for us and loved us
- Was very strict but we knew she loved us and we loved her too
- Was always slow and steady when she was teaching
- Was a strong teacher
- Was a blessed woman
- Loved us although she knew some of us behaved badly
- I liked her hair
- She has a good sense of humour
